In Matthew 6, Jesus calls his people to direct their prayers to their Father in heaven, be focused on the concerns of the Father, and filled with the needs that only our Father can supply. Jesus will answer the question, “What does authentic Kingdom prayer look like?”

B. Kingdom People Hope in God’s Kingdom (10, “Your Kingdom come…”)
C. Kingdom People Hunger for God’s Will (10, “Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”)

Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount is His reiteration of the Law, of God’s standard for righteousness. We are incapable of attaining this righteousness on our own.
