Hear My Prayer, O LORD

The Plight of a Thirsty Soul (verses 3 and 4 ) - Pursued - Crushed - Isolated (imprisoned, blinded) - Overwhelmed - Distressed 3. The Proper Perspective of a Thirsty Soul (verses 5 and 6) - Remember God - Meditate on God - Ponder God - Confess to God - Beg God - Worship God (Selah) 4. CHANGE US, O GOD - A request for God's mercy - A request for God's blessing - A request for God's presence - Selah - So that your way may be known on the earth - So that your saving power may be known among the nations CHANGE THEM, O GOD - A request that others - all others will praise God - A request that the nations will be so glad they will sing for joy - A request that the nations will realize the source of all joy is the justice and righteousness of God - Selah - A second request that all others (the nations) will praise God Application - Cultivate a personal relationship with God - Thank God - Stand in awe of God - Worship God - Tell others about God
