Continuing in our series, On Location from Philippi, we look at the top end of Chapter 3. Paul is focusing on the goal of life, pursuing knowing Christ. He focuses on Joy as a safety and warns believers to beware false teachers. Paul wrestles with the comparison between our attempts at goodness and the futility of boasting in the flesh. Ultimately, we find the supreme value of pursuing knowing Christ above anything else. We too are presented with the opportunity to choose knowing Christ and the incredible power of His resurrection.
