Heroes of the Bible - Jesus, Elijah, and many others - demonstrate the tension between being strong people of God and the vulnerability of being humans with deep feelings and emotions. When processed properly and kept in the appropriate "seat on the bus," emotions can serve us well. Staying vulnerable enables us to have deep and meaningful relationships with God and other people and continue walking in freedom.
