Today we hear about what Jesus endured from his trials to the cross and we are reminded why it's called "Good Friday" because SUNDAY IS COMING and with that the resurrection of Jesus.

Thursday

On Thursday, Jesus' final day before the cross, Jesus encouraged Simon Peter after the last meal. Even when He knew that He was about to face the cross, Jesus was present and loving in the moment. Through this time with Simon Peter we can remember that we have a real enemy who wants to sift us, that when we have a testing of faith Jesus intercedes on our behalf, and God uses our testing to strengthen others.
