Please join us for a traditional Passover Seder on April 27th in Fellowship Hall. Passover is an exciting story of slavery, oppression, followed by FREEDOM and redemption. It will take us from the time the Jews were enslaved in Egypt and had to eat the bread of affliction, through the time they were freed to eat Matzah, the bread of freedom.
We are blessed to be led in this traditional Jewish ritual by Rabbi Marc Labowitz. Rabbi Marc will lead us through the traditional service and each symbolic food with prayer and help us to understand the reason the Seder is so important to the Jewish religion.
It is important to understand that the symbols inherent in the practice, such as redemption and renewal, resonate with members of both faiths and is an opportunity for Christian and Jewish togetherness
There is no charge, but a suggested donation of $10 would be appreciated to help cover the cost of the food.
