Acts 23:12-24:27 puts two men living opposite lives side by side for us to see. Paul is living the Gospel Life. Paul has embraced the presence and promises of God. Felix is living the anti-Gospel Life. Felix has rejected the presence and promises of God. Which life are you living? Who are you?

Do every find yourself asking, “Am I going to make it?” You know . . . is God really in control? In the midst of life’s problems is God’s purpose for my life still on track? No doubt, Paul was tempted to ask these exact questions despite the fact that God had promised him he would make it to Rome. The journey was incredibly difficult! Why does life sometimes have to be so hard? Acts 27:1-28:10 answers these questions and shows us through Paul’s example that living the Gospel Life requires some Gospel Grit!

Never Say "No"

One of the secrets of Paul’s life is that once he got saved—he learned the Gospel Life secret of always saying “YES” to God! As a result, he daily experienced both the HOPE and HELP that comes from God. Hope and help from God are our fundamental needs as human beings. God wants to provide us both. Both are available when we say YES to God!
