As we come to chapter four, Paul is dealing with the importance of spiritual leadership. He addresses a complicated relationship that he has with the Church in Corinth as their spiritual mentor. Paul is not afraid to address the difficult truths that they need to hear, but he speaks to them in love. He comes with authority – an authority that is laced with gentleness and compassion.

Being on mission with the Gospel means working together to accomplish God’s will. It often means sacrificing our personal wants and desires in order to realize the intended mission outcome of sharing the Gospel. This week Paul challenges each of us as the church, reminding us that like Paul, we were made for more.

Are we willing to put our freedoms aside in order to extend God’s grace to those around us?

Happy New Year! This week we move back into our series “Made for More” a study in the book of 1 Corinthians. As we rejoin the apostle Paul, in the chapter he tackles some questions that many continue to ask today. What do I do with my life? Is there more than this? What career should I pursue? Am I where God wants me? Join us Sunday as we kick off the new year together on mission with the Gospel.
