God has called his church to bring the hope of the gospel to the world. Those who know Christ have been gives great gifts of faith, love, and hope. Jesus calls us to take those gifts and give them away. Join us this week as we begin a new series looking for how we can do this. We will be looking at 1 Thessalonians 1:1-10 this Sunday.

This Sunday we come to the end of our series through 1 and 2 Thessalonians. We have enjoyed learning about the hope filled church as Paul shares his thankfulness for the gospel ministry of this young church standing up for the gospel amidst great persecution. This Sunday we will cover 2 Thessalonians 3. Paul one last time is challenging us to be faithful to the work God is doing within us and outside of us. Paul begins his second letter to the Thessalonians with some words of commendation and then some information that comforts these people who are being persecuted because of their faith in Jesus Christ. The commendation is because their faith and their love for one another is deepening and increasing. The comfort Paul want them to feel is found in their future, when Jesus comes again with his fiery angels.
