We all have dreams and goals that we want to realize and accomplish. But, we have a tendency to give up when things begin to turn or we encounter difficulty. Thomas Edison said, "Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." Paul the Apostle told us to "Press towards the mark of the high calling of God in Christ." Press on, don't give up and you will succeed.

A lot of people lose their temper quickly these days - a mistake on the highway, an unintended slight in the store, etc. Solomon said, "A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise person holds it in check." (Proverbs 29:11). The Holy Spirit empowers us to hold back and not lose our heads. Lord help us lower the emotional temperature around us!
