The ways of God are inscrutable sometimes - impossible to determine or understand. One person is healed another isn't. One person keeps his job while another is laid off and both are Christians. On the surface it seems to be inequitable especially by the person who loses their job. As it's been said, "When someone else gets laid off - it's a recession; when I get laid off - it's a depression!" This is where trust in God's plan for us is vital - we don't know always know why but we can know that he loves us (Romans 8:28)
