We have a tendency to think that our circumstances or situations are completely unique. “No one has ever had to go through what I have gone through,” we say to ourselves. However, the truth is that we are pretty normal. The difficulties we go through in life are pretty routine and normal and experienced by countless numbers of others around us. Paul said, “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man.” (1 Corinthians 10:13) Our hardships are a part of the human condition, but remember, “God is faithful!” He will get us through to the other side and bless us! - Pastor Ken

History is filled with surprise attacks such as Pearl Harbor and the Six-Day War. Many Christians act as though the spiritual war we are engaged in is some kind of surprise attack. Peter said, "Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you." (1 Peter 4:12). God equips us to stand in all the battles we encounter - so, stand! (See Ephesians 6:10-18) Stand in Christ and experience the victory in his name. - Pastor Ken
