This Week at Calvary

August 19, 2018 • Dr. Ken Lang

Lord, why me? Imagine losing everything that you invested in with no hope of recovery. The disciples and the women who followed Jesus had all their eggs in one basket: the Kingdom of the Messiah. But, now he's dead; now what? The cross didn't kill Christ, but Jesus destroyed death in his death on the cross. We can look back and see God's love in the death of Jesus. "God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) Pastor Ken

Unexpected Difficulties

October 20, 2021 • Dr. Ken Lang

We are all going to face unanticipated situations that will challenge us. Even though we may not have seen them coming, God knew all along. When you walk with God, he will ensure that you get to the desired destination. Isaiah said, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." (Isaiah 43:2). - Pastor Ken To watch our full service: https://youtu.be/w37_j6-wrjm
