We are living in times where there is a need for God’s church to display courage and to stand for Christ. General George Patton said, "Courage is fear that has said its prayers." We all have fear, but courage responds to that fear with confidence. Know this, courage is contagious. If you take a stand, others will follow. Billy Graham said, "When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are stiffened." Therefore, let's pray for courage to stand in these difficult times and to stand together. - Pastor Ken

A lot of people lose their temper quickly these days - a mistake on the highway, an unintended slight in the store, etc. Solomon said, "A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise person holds it in check." (Proverbs 29:11). The Holy Spirit empowers us to hold back and not lose our heads. Lord help us lower the emotional temperature around us!
