What is essential to you? When I think of whatโs essential for Thanksgiving - I think of turkey. For Christmas, I think of a Christmas tree and presents. When I think of what is essential for following Christ - 2 things emerge in my thoughts; the word of God and the Spirit of God. Did you receive the Spirit of God when you believed? (Acts 19:2). Seeking to obey God apart from the power of the Spirit is like trying to sail without wind or drive a car without gas. He is essential to a Christ glorifying life. Pastor Ken
