Lying is epidemic in our culture. Tragically, lying is a much more difficult road to walk than telling the truth. You may get away with the deceit temporarily, but somehow, eventually it will be revealed. The price associated with it may be more expensive than just telling the truth. Additionally, lying demands a great memory. When you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything. Paul instructs us to tell the truth to one another because we belong to each other. Love demands that we tell the truth. Practice it and enjoy the freedom of truth. (John 8:32)

Have you ever done a home remodeling project? It requires more than just a trip to Home Depot. You have to develop a plan, expend resources, gather materials, and then expend the effort. The same is true of remodeling our lives for Christ. "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind." (Romans 12:2)
