1 Timothy 5:17-25

In the early church, there were a group of men who devoted all their time to the work of the church. Likewise, today, there are men (like our pastors here) whose full-time work is committed to the church. This does not mean that a pastor who teaches the Bible should get paid twice the amount of everyone else. The idea here of double honor means the dual honor of respect and pay.

1 Timothy 1:1-4
