Repeatedly we see revival and God's blessing upon people who turn to the Word! I can tell you personally that there is nothing quite as wonderful as seeing the light go on in people's minds and hearts. I just experienced this on Sunday at the baptism; so many new people and, when I asked them when they got saved, they responded with 'when I heard the Bible say...'

The Word gives light, direction. It also means that God is for us and no one can be against us. That's what's happening here in Judah...

Revival changes lives—these men (including some from the north) left Jerusalem changed people! They no longer wanted anything to do with their old lives… Smashed, cut-down, destroyed—this is how we should respond to God’s goodness. It just never seems right that people who have been rescued from their sin run right back to it. We need to smash the sin in our lives daily. Revival feels good…

The only answer for stubbornness is submitting (yielding; KJV) to God… It’s really hard for Christians to admit they are wrong. Be honest enough to confess that you’re wrong, He’s right, and make the right decision regarding who is in charge of your life. We can find ourselves in a mess just like they were.
