gift of direct. I must also share that modern
scholarship (higher criticism; liberal) maintains
that Isaiah is a patchwork of writing from many
contributors. In other words, the really smart guys
have determined that Isaiah didn’t write much of
the book! The problem, of course, is that Jesus
quotes from every section of Isaiah’s writing while
attributing it all to Isaiah. That should (sadly it

Remember, we are not Israel and the Americans are not God’s chosen people. However, the principles are rich and apply to every one of us. Since I am, for the most part, speaking to believers, you must understand that there are always consequences for neglecting our own vineyards. Often, those consequences are more than we can bear and, though our God is patient, they always get worse when we refuse correction. Everything that Isaiah prophecies here came true exactly as predicted even though none of it had to happen. If they only listened and paid attention...
