"Israel is complaining that God doesn’t love them anymore. ‘If God loved us, would we be in this mess?’ They are blaming all their troubles on God not being faithful while God is saying just the opposite is true. ‘I have been faithful. Did I divorce you? Show me the proof—the certificate. You can’t show me because I never divorced you—your problems are self-inflicted because of sin!’ That means that all their problems were caused by rebellion. They divorced God, not the other way around.."

He calls us to a family meeting and He sits us down and asks us to open our minds/hearts for a reasonable discussion. When we refuse to be reasonable with God, the pain in our lives grows beyond our ability to bear..."
