"Isaiah is pleading with the rulers of Judah to protect the refugees being judged by God. Hide them from those who will harm them is the idea. We now live in a world where refugees are fleeing (not the judgment of God necessarily) for their lives from wicked rulers and drug cartels. I think the heart of God is to offer protection to them.."

"As we will see, Isaiah was very, very bold. His status as a prophet seems to be beyond all the others. He comports himself with dignity, with love, with passion, and, has the gift of direct. I must also share that modern scholarship (higher criticism; liberal) maintains that Isaiah is a patchwork of writing from many contributors. He calls us to a family meeting and He sits us down and asks us to open our minds/hearts for a reasonable discussion. When we refuse to be reasonable with God, the pain in our lives grows beyond our ability to bear..."
