God of All Comfort, God of our Consolation

January 19, 2025 • Dr. Carlton C. McLeod • 2 Corinthians 1:3–5

Life brings trials, suffering, and moments when we feel overwhelmed, but God is near. This sermon from 2 Corinthians 1:3-5 reminds us that God is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. No matter what we face—loneliness, affliction, grief, or fear—He is with us, strengthening and sustaining us.

Paul’s words encourage us not only to receive God’s comfort but also to extend that same comfort to others. The deeper the trial, the greater the consolation of Christ. This message calls us to trust God's presence, lean on His promises, and find hope even in suffering.

Watch now and be reminded that in every trial, God is there—comforting, sustaining, and drawing us closer to Him.
