The Christian life is the Spirit-filled life. It is a life empowered by, directed by, and yielded to the Holy Spirit [Acts 1:5-8, Ephesians 5:18]. When you receive Christ, you receive a spiritual birth, and now have the power of the Spirit to live a life that is pleasing to God. There is a profound contentment that flows from appreciating and appropriating your new life in the Spirit.
