Haggai 2:10-23

Haggai concludes this book by calling Israel to holiness that brings blessing upon the people and with a special encouragement to Zerubbabel. Pastor Charlie reminds us of the importance of holiness. As we consider this passage Pastor Charlie encourages us to stay focused upon the LORD and the work He has laid before us.

Haggai 2:5-9

As the people of Israel continue to build the temple the LORD encourages His people by promising to be with them, and promises that a new temple that will be more glorious than the last. Pastor Charlie explains the different interpretation to this prophetic text as we consider the shaking of heaven and earth and a new temple where peace is given.

The Prophet Haggai confronts the people of Israel because they live in a way which disregards the LORD and His house. The leaders and the people respond, not in offense but in obedience to the LORD and begin to build a His temple. Pastor Charlie leads us in a time to consider our own ways, to trust in the LORD, and to be obedient to the LORD.
