On Friday, August 12, 2022, from 10 am to 4 pm, all Junior High and High School students are invited to a day of Paintball at Black River. The cost is $35 per student. Each student must fill out a waiver before attending. You cannot play without the waiver. After you register, you will receive an email with a link to the waiver. Admission, equipment, and paintballs are all covered in the cost. Drop off and pick up will be at Black River Paintball in Angier, NC. Please bring a lunch, water bottle, and sunscreen/bug spray. What kind of clothes should they wear? A: The paintballs are a mixture of food coloring and vegetable oil, they will simply bleed into the clothes to the point of transparency and will wash out with your normal laundry. You need to make sure you wear long pants, like jeans, something that you don't mind getting dirty. The dirt from jumping into fox holes and rolling around in the leaves will create more stains than the paintballs ever will. Remember, you are in the woods, and bugs and sticks are still around. Long sleeve shirts are highly recommended, even in the summertime. As footwear, be sure to wear something comfortable and again, something you don't mind getting dirty.
