Back-to-School Blessing Weekend
August 8, 2021 • Pastor Marty Sloan • Numbers, Genesis, Jeremiah, Psalms
In our sixth week of loving our church, we take a weekend to celebrate and pray over students and educators. We understand the important roles that students and educators play in our culture, and we want to speak life and build them up whenever we can. July 18, 2021 • Pastor Marty Sloan
In our third week of loving our church, we'll look at how we are called as many to live as one body of Christ. The church is messy because people are messy, and the church is filled with people, but if we love God, then we must also enthusiastically love and care for people. Everyone has a specific and purposeful role in the church that God designed just for us!
The Holy Spirit Empowers the Church
July 11, 2021 • Pastor Jason McElwee
In our second week of loving our church, we'll look at how the Holy Spirit empowers the church to make a difference in the world. The Holy Spirit begins by moving in us then moving through us as we interact with those around us. How we live our lives outside the church and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit can transform the world, but first, we have to be attentive to what the Holy Spirit is saying!
