Is There Any Hope?

We all know the world is broken. Something is wrong. We can celebrate the goodness of life, the laughter of a child, the innocence of a puppy, the beauty of a sunset, or the indescribable experience of love and yet...and yet over 4.5 million people have died of COVID, after 2 decades of US sacrifice and investment in Afghanistan the Taliban rules the government again, in our generation, as in every generation, there is war, poverty, violence, and human depravity...the reality that evil lurks in the human heart, even the best of hearts and while God seems an almost inescapable reality, He seems distant even unknowable. And so we ask, “Is there any hope?”
