What? Heat Wave is our annual high school summer camp. The camp will be loaded with fun activities such as a high ropes challenge course, guided lava cave exploring, paint balling, swimming, white water rafting field games, night games and more! Each morning and evening there will be times of worship led by a guest worship rock band, followed by Bible studies taught by our guest speaker Andy Ziesemer from Jesus Mission and the New Divide. We will be covering the topic: Who Am I in Christ? There will also be workshops discussing other relevant challenging topics. The main goal of this camp is for students to have a great time, and to better equip them to confidently live out their faith. We desire for each student to grow closer in their individual relationship with Jesus, and communal relationship with the body of Christ. When? July 31-August 4th. Drop-off time at the church on the 31st will be 10:30AM. In the week leading up to the camp, more info such as a packing list and consent forms will be emailed to you. Please bring those forms with you at drop off, and turn them in when you check in. Pick up time at the church will be 5pm on the 4th, unless otherwise specified depending on traffic. Where? This year, Heat Wave will be taking place at Camp Jonah in Trout Lake, WA. This camp is just south of Mount Adams, nestled in a beautiful valley at the foot of the mountain. A river runs through the property and offers a great swimming hole. The address of the camp is 31 Little Mountain Rd. Trout Lake, WA 95650 Cost and Where do I Sign up? Cost is $200, this includes both travel days, all meals and activities except for white water rafting which is an extra $60 totaling $260 if white water rafting. Sign up on either the Calvary Chapel Lake Stevens app under the event tab, or on cclakestevens.org. Payment is due July 25th.
