Jeremiah 44-45 "Final Message to Judah"

This week we'll see Jeremiah give what many believe is his final message to His Jewish brothers from the land of Judah. They have travelled to Egypt at this point and now dwell in the land we are told. Jeremiah will firmly stand for the truth and call the people out once more for their rebellion. Then in chapter 45 we'll see a brief message to the assistant of Jeremiah whose name was Baruch.

This week we'll finish up the book of Jeremiah. We'll be talking about the judgment that would come upon the people of Babylon and how the Medes and the Persians would one day be used against them. Then we'll have a recap of the fall of Jerusalem as the Word of God plainly declares that everything Jeremiah had prophesied about the cities fall certainly did come to pass. This week as we come to the final three chapters in the book of Jeremiah we will see that the Lord will address the Babylonians and what they will hear is that God will judge them as well...The Medes and Persians will initially be God's instrument but there will also be a final destruction of Babylon in the end days as well.
