Luke 7:1-35 "Authority, Compassion, Confusion, Choices"

March 5, 2023 • Jared Clements

This week we'll take a look at three different narratives and learn several lessons as we do. Jesus will display complete and total authority over sickness, we'll see the faith of a centurion soldier, we'll see the Lord have compassion on a widow whose only son had died and then we'll see John the Baptist send some of his disciples with some questions for the Lord.

Luke 24:28-53 "Final Instructions Before Leaving Earth"

October 29, 2023 • Jared Clements

Today we'll finish the gospel of Luke. Jesus will continue to reveal Himself to the men that He met on the road to Emmaus, we'll then see that He appears to those who were in Jerusalem gathered with the door shut. He'll allow them to touch Him and He'll eat food in their presence to again prove His resurrection. He'll speak of the Holy Spirit and the need that they had to wait in Jerusalem until He empowered them and then He'll ascend into heaven. Join us today as we watch the Savior of the world carry the cross and face crucifixion. We'll see two criminals hung with Jesus one of which would be with the Lord in Paradise that very day and the other who would hurl insults. We'll see the temple veil torn in two and a roman soldier who declared that Jesus was certainly a righteous man.
