STRONG PASTORS FOR TOUGH TIMES

I’ve noticed lately that we don’t get to choose our trials. Life can be hard. Some of the challenges it throws at us are tough sledding. You can get hit by trouble you didn’t see coming. This is why our faith needs to be tough as well. We need strong pastors for tough times.

This year’s Deep South Conference will be a time for pastors and their leaders to look in the mirror. We’ll examine the stuff we’re made of, and find ways to toughen up our faith. God wants to bring healing to the wounded pastor, comfort to the persecuted pastor, fellowship to the isolated pastor, courage to the fearful pastor, might to the powerless pastor, trust to the doubting pastor, and rest to the weary pastor. Today is the day to prepare ourselves for the challenges tomorrow is sure to bring.

As always, there will also be God-exalting worship, sweet fellowship, lots of extras, and delicious barbecue! New to this year’s conference will be a session for women taught by Carol Wild from CC Merritt Island, FL. We hope you’ll make plans to come and bring your team.
