During difficult trials, no doubt a well-meaning Christian friend has tried to bring comfort by quoting Romans 8:28. But if we are completely honest, at those times the verse can be more of a problem than a promise. How could what I am experiencing ever be good? So, what really is the Promise of Romans 8:28?
