I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you." No matter what we do, or how we nicely we share the gospel, there will be people who will hate us because of what we stand for and Who we love. But, as followers of Jesus who were saved and loved by God while we were His enemies, we must be willing to follow in His footsteps in loving the unsaved. We've been warned, the world will hate us for being His Kids, so stop hoping for people to like you, because we've been warned they often won't like us. But pray for a love that will never fail, even if it doesn't seem to "work". Because is that not the love of Jesus, a love that never gave up on us, no matter how much we fell down or pushed back. "Bless those who persecute you. Don't curse them; pray that God will bless them" - Romans 12:14
