It’s hard to believe that Christmas is right around the corner. An annual part of the way that we celebrate Christmas here at Calvary Chapel Charleston is by partnering with Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child. Every year this global ministry provides Christmas boxes of toys, supplies and the good news of the gospel to children in need all over the world. 

Our church is excited to provide supplies and pack approximately 400 boxes. In order to fill all of these boxes we are asking for supply donations. In the back of the sanctuary there will be an Operation Christmas Child Christmas Tree. Each of the ornaments on the tree represent a supply needed for the boxes. Take an ornament and bring back the requested items by October 13th. Once we have everything, on October 26th, we will have a packing party potluck to get all of the boxes together. This is a great opportunity to build a family tradition and encourage your kids to serve alongside you and participate in global ministry. If you have wanted to be involved in mission work but aren’t ready to move overseas this is a great and practical way to serve children in other countries.
