A Light in the Darkness

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." - John 1:5

February 25, 5:30pm - February 26, 2022 12:00pm

The Lord is at work in the Gallatin Valley! A LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS is a conference dedicated to hearing from members of our body who are currently working in various influential places in our community. The darkness is thick but the glory of the Lord is shining bright! Come receive encouragement as we listen to these testimonies, receive practical help on crossing bridges, and also consider what God's Word has to say on the subject of light. Whether you are a first responder, school teacher, construction worker, barista, or homeschool mom, the Lord has placed you in your sphere of influence to be a light to those who are in darkness, that Christ might be glorified in this valley. **Childcare is available** **No sign ups** SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Friday, Feb 25 - Doors open at 5:30 - Refreshments Served 6:00pm Worship and Welcome - John Merkovsky 6:15pm A Light in the Darkness - Ted Ethridge 6:45pm Hannah Helsby (Bozeman Police Department) Steve Merriman (Bozeman High) Emily Barr (Coldsmoke Coffee House) 7:30pm - Break 7:45pm When the Night is Dark - Dale Fricke (Sheriff’s Office) 8:15pm Tim Wilkes (Bozeman Public Schools Susan Atkinson (Morning Star School) Theresa Goveia (Bozeman Health) Saturday, Feb 26 - Doors Open at 8:30am - Continental Breakfast 9:00am Worship and Welcome - Dennis Balian 9:15am Looking for Opportunities - Dan Miller (Montana State) 9:45am Mark Hollowell (GCDC Jail Ministry) Lisa Survoy (GCDC Jail Ministry) Will Darling, School (Bozeman Schools Bus Driver) 10:30am Break 10:45am Investing in People - Mark Springer (Dayspring Restoration) 11:15am Joni Balian (Homeschool co-op, neighbor, friend) Gary O’Brien (Bozeman Fire)
