Love (Luke 1:46-55)

December 18, 2022 • Luke 1:46–55

Today we look at Luke 1:46-55. As Mary ponders the great things that God has done for her, she bursts forth in a song of praise. She declares that God has looked upon His humble servant and has filled her with His grace. She rejoices in the fact that God has brought down the mighty and has lifted up the humble. Through Mary's words, we see the incredible love that she had for God. She was willing to put aside her own desires and trust in His plan for her life. Her love for God was evident in the way she lived her life and in the way she praised Him. As we read this passage, we are reminded of the love that God has for each one of us. He desires for us to trust in Him and to seek His will for our lives.
