DNA

The Building Blocks of the Church

Unity

February 27, 2022 • Pastor Kurt Klose • Ephesians 4:1–6

The Church is meant to be a place where we can find unity in diversity. Though we are many parts, these parts come together to make one body. Rather than looking for ways to divide and splinter, the Church looks for commonality and areas to partner for the good of the world.

Gratitude

February 20, 2022 • Pastor Nathan Batres • Colossians 3:16

When the people of God come together, they should be marked with an attitude of gratitude. We worship because of the faithfulness of God in our lives. Because of Jesus Christ, the Church has the greatest reason to express gratitude through the way we worship, serve and live.

Good Works

February 13, 2022 • Pastor Peggy Brumfield • Hebrews 10:24–25

The Church gathers together to worship in order to be sent out into the world to serve. Part of the DNA of the Church is a deep desire to encourage one another so that no one would grow wearing in doing good. The Church should be the only entity on earth that exists for the benefit of its non-members.

Foundation

February 6, 2022 • Pastor Nathan Batres • Ephesians 2:20–22

The Church is built on the foundation that is Jesus Christ. He is where all of our authority, confidence is derived and where all of our service, worship and praise is directed. Without the person of Jesus, there is nothing else worth gathering for.
