Calvary Temple is hosting its annual co-ed Basketball Camp for kids aged 8 through 14. Whether new to the sport or experienced, this is a co-ed camp where kids learn the fundamentals of basketball and about Jesus' great love for us! Through a series of exciting drills and 5-on-5 scrimmages, kids are grouped with others of the same age/ skill level to learn shooting, dribbling, rebounding, how to do a layup, and the basics of strong defense and offense and more. Coaches Corner includes a daily Bible verse and lesson that teaches campers about the importance of character Jesus creates in us on and off the court. Awards are given daily to players who demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship and excellence. Celebrate the end of the week with a free pizza party for campers and parents, sponsored by The Dons' Wood-fired Pizza, and a coaches contest!
