Was Christ's Work Enough? - John 19:30

The work of Jesus on the cross for our redemption was total. Nothing apart from or in addition to it will accomplish our redemption before God. This is recognized by the Father and Spirit as well.

1. The Father accepted Jesus' sacrifice for our sins.

2. The Spirit accepted Jesus' sacrifice for our sins.

3. The Son accomplished the total sacrifice for our sins.

Jesus' healing of the Ten Lepers gives us an object lesson about thankfulness. Regardless of the number of those who actually got it, the one who recognized the good thing they had gained more than their health as a result. 1. Thankfulness is recognizing the good things you have. 2. Signs follow those who believe, not the other way around. 3. Thankfulness is the perspective every Christian can have towards everything in life.

Paul continues his letter to Thessalonica reminding them of his example, his teachings, and his love for them as fellow believers. While he couldn't be with them in person, his hope was that they continue to grow in their relationship with God like He taught and showed them. 1. Deeds speak louder than words. 2. Love should be the priority of every believer. 3. Your respect for God will be reflected by your respect for His Word.
