Day 251 - Read Psalm 35-37

December 30, 2024 • Psalms 35—37

David sought vindication because his enemies sought to kill him even after he cared for them and mourned in their time of need. He asked the Lord to allow others to see the Lord care for him in his time of need so they would rejoice in the Lord. David wrote Psalm thirty-six as a song to the Lord, praising His steadfast love and righteousness. David contrasted the wicked and the righteous in chapter thirty-seven. The righteous delight in the Lord and receive the desires of their hearts. The wicked may appear to prosper, but they will soon perish. The Lord helps the righteous, and their salvation is in Him.
