A Manger?

Jesus came to us on a quiet night in Bethlehem 2000 years ago and his mother wrapped him in strips of cloth and lay him in a feeding trough for animals. He who could robe himself in all the galaxies of the universe came robed in cloth. He who sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty who rules in his rightful place where all the saints cast their golden crowns at his feet, came lying in a manger. Why a manger? Because God’s people needed rescuing.
