Righteousness. Justice… and race? Christians, here’s what we know: God is Righteous, and his justice is the outpouring of that righteousness…so how are we to view issues of race in our society—and ultimately Gospel-centered racial reconciliation—from this foundational truth? If we are to live life as mission right here in Birmingham, we must consider some of the unique challenges our community faces and what role we as believers and as a church body have to play. Join us for an 8-week series as Michelle Torbor leads our church through an exploration of Scripture-based models of racial reconciliation, of the complexities of a “racialized society” surrounding us, and how we are called to reflect God’s righteousness and enact justice.
