Why does PNG4Christ not work in Australia?
In a world where consumerism and secularism often reign, the call to share our faith shines brighter than ever. Many have turned to material possessions and worldly pleasures, seeking fulfilment in things that disappear. But as believers, we are called to a higher purpose, to share the everlasting hope found in Christ.
Just as the early Christians lived out their faith with sincerity and love, we, too, are called to be a light in the darkness of consumerism and secularism. Our lives should reflect the joy and peace that come from knowing Christ, drawing others to Him through our actions and words.
When the world seeks satisfaction in temporary pleasures, we can point them towards the eternal joy found in a relationship with God. Let us not be swayed by society's trends, but instead, let us stand firm in our faith, showing others the true source of fulfilment and purpose.
As we navigate this consumer-driven world, let us remember the words of 1 Peter 3:15 (NKJV), "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defence to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear." May we boldly and graciously share our faith, shining the light of Christ in a world that desperately needs His love and truth.
