3 Shocking Things About Make Disciples of All Nations
August 21, 2022 • Eric Dubach
When Jesus told his disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, it wasn’t the discipleship part that scared them, I believe it was the “all nations” part that did. For when you go into “all nations”, you’re stepping outside everything you’re familiar with. But to join Jesus in the Gospel, that’s where we have to go. For us, this doesn’t mean we necessarily have to travel to a foreign nation and learn a new language. It might mean we walk across the street and connect with a neighbor we’ve avoided for years. In this message, we’ll learn how Jesus wants our communities to be saturated with the Gospel.
Healthy Relationships

We believe our homes will become Jesus-Centered primarily through healthy relationships. But a healthy relationship is not defined by how much you enjoy being with someone. It is defined by the way Jesus related to others around him. Jesus lived a lifestyle of love and people were drawn to it. It didn’t mean he caved to the demands of the religiously arrogant or the insecure powerful. In fact, he showed us what healthy relationships look like by juxtaposing himself against the dysfunction of those very religious leaders. Love, not religion, builds healthy relationships.
Jesus-centered Homes

Vision is never meant to be a well-written statement that sounds profound but never changes or affects lives. Real vision is meant to be lived. And because our vision is so livable, this series will have a big impact. It starts by learning what it means to have a Jesus-centered home and how to build that kind of house. It’s more than a cross hanging on the wall, occasional church attendance, and a “no cussing” rule. It is a home fully saturated with the presence and power of Jesus himself.
