SHUSH IT When it comes to relationships—love, dating, marriage, sex—they don’t always turn out like we dreamed they would. Everywhere we turn, we’re promised pleasure and happiness, but we’re often left hurt and empty. In part 2 of I Can’t Fight This Feeling, we’ll explore what the Bible has to say about how we should talk with each other and, equally, if not more importantly, how to listen well. We’ll discover that health in relationships means honing our listening and slowing down before we speak.

Student Take Over Sunday

Scott Harris & Student Leadership Team • June 4, 2017

STUDENT TAKE OVER Pastor Scott Harris interviews Middle School Directors, Branden Hendrix and MaryKate Pugh and High School Directors, Jobin and Diviya Mathai. You are the light of the world... Matthew 5:14 No matter the age, we believe that God can use anyone. We can minister his Word to the world in small and large ways. As Middle School leaders, we are hoping to introduce students to the love of Jesus and light them up! As High School leaders, we are hoping to set students on fire for the ministry of God as they grow in their relationship with him. As the Student Ministry of Brooklake, we want our students to have a solid foundation in their relationship and ministry of Jesus as they set out on their life journey. We want them to know that this relationship with God is real and hard, yet we are all used by him in very diverse ways. We want to light students up, to set them on fire, to watch them burn with their love for Jesus for all the world to see.
