God has given mankind the gift of marriage. It starts all the way in the book of Genesis. God has given you your spouse as a gift, and they are the way they are for your growth. Someone has to be held responsible. Someone must the leader. Most marriage problems come from the lack of knowing our roles.
When we are wounded as a young child, then that can set up believers for adulthood. What happens in an individual's heart when wronged and not responding with forgiveness? What are the results of bitterness or resentment?

"As a man thinks so is he" Prov. 23:7. Our thoughts become a choices and our choices become our life style. How do you change your life style? You start by changing your thoughts. Purity begins in the thought life.
Do you know what the spiritual discipline of meekness looks like? Jesus lived every second on earth completely under the control of His Father and lived in meekness. This is an area of most believer's lives that we never think about until we are out of control in sin.
Where are your children finding their self worth? Often times our anger, dissatisfaction, or unpleased looks show to them more than our words. Children pick up on these phrases and meanings. Important message for all parents
