Series Synopsis

Just like our culture, the Bible places great importance on money. In fact, it teaches us that the way we view, gain and use money has even far greater impact and consequences than what people generally believe, whether for good or for bad, both for this life and the next. So don't just work for your money, make your money work for you.

1. Be Honest

April 7, 2024 • Senior Pastor Wang Tiak Kweng

We desire everyone to act with integrity in their financial dealings with us, yet on the other hand, we don’t always deal honestly with other people. We need more than merely negative consequences or moral convictions to overcome dishonesty. In this message, we learn how Christianity provides us the strength we need to be honest.

2. Be Secure

April 14, 2024 • Senior Pastor Wang Tiak Kweng

Most of us want a lot more money than we have because we believe that will bring us greater security. This is a myth. Not only will trusting in money fail to provide true security and distort our perspective, there is in fact a better way to meet our need for security, whether we have much or little money. Let’s learn from the Bible how that can be possible.

3. Be Liberal

April 21, 2024 • Senior Pastor Wang Tiak Kweng

Generosity is universally considered a virtue, and it is by no means practised only by Christians. However, the very nature of the Christian faith takes generosity to a different level, because it empowers us to find delight not in what we keep, but in what we give away. In today’s message, we will learn how we can get the most joy in the way we manage wealth.

4. Be Savvy

April 28, 2024 • Senior Pastor Wang Tiak Kweng

The limitation with most financial advice is that it comes from people who have an interest in making money from us, which means they are never truly independent. That is why we should heed the timeless principles taught by Jesus, because he only desires to bless us rather than get something out of us. In this message, we will learn from a fascinating parable he taught about money.
