10 - Peter & Persecution

Acts 4:1-31

February 9, 2014 • Pastor Ronald H. Gann

Persecution is nothing new to the Church. The church father Tertullian once wrote: "The blood of martyrs is the seed of the Church." And such persecution can be traced historically from the time of Jesus and the apostles in the first century to the present time. This begs the questions: Is there a divine motive behind such suffering? Can anything good come from it? And how did Christ’s apostles handle affliction?

In this comprehensive sermon series, Pastor Ronald H. Gann travels the dusty roads of the Mediterranean world alongside Peter and Paul and examines the key events in the formation of the early Church.
