05 - (Thursday) The Last Supper

Matthew 26:17-30

June 26, 2011 • Pastor Ronald H. Gann

In the upper room with his disciples, on the last night of his life, Christ ended the Passover and instituted a new memorial to himself--traditionally known as the Lord's Supper. This new memorial would not look back to a lamb slaughtered in Egypt as the symbol of God’s redeeming love and power, however, but would instead point to the very Lamb of God himself, who, by the shedding of his sacrificial blood, took away the sins of the world. In that one meal Jesus both terminated the old and inaugurated the new.

In this climactic conclusion to his two-year study on the major events in the life of Christ, Pastor Ronald H. Gann examines each day of the Lord’s final week on earth.

01 - (Sunday) The Triumphal Entry

May 29, 2011 • Pastor Ronald H. Gann

For three years Jesus preached about the Kingdom of God. In addition to his powerful words, he proved he was Heir Apparent to the Kingdom by his powerful wonders. But in the last seven days of his life, culminating in his betrayal, arrest, and crucifixion, both friend and foe alike attempted to hijack his claim to the throne. Beginning with his Triumphal Entry on Sunday and ending in his glorious resurrection one week later, the Lord's last days were chalked full with drama and intrigue. In this climactic conclusion to his two-year study on the major events in the life of Christ, Pastor Ronald H. Gann examines each day of the Lord’s final week on earth.

02 - (Monday) The Second Temple Cleansing

June 5, 2011 • Pastor Ronald H. Gann

During the last week of our Lord’s life, on his last Monday in fact, Jesus entered the Jewish Temple to worship His Father for the Passover celebration, and in preparation for his death five days later. But what he found there waiting for him was anything but conducive to the worship of God. That's when Jesus, for the second time in his ministry, took matters into his own hands to cleanse the House of God. In this climactic conclusion to his two-year study on the major events in the life of Christ, Pastor Ronald H. Gann examines each day of the Lord’s final week on earth.

03 - (Tuesday) The Authority Debate

June 12, 2011 • Pastor Ronald H. Gann

Jesus was a logician of the highest regard. He was the premiere debater. And the reason he was such is because he was truth incarnate. All rules of logic were created by him. All of wisdom’s knowledge is personified in him. All matters of debate stop with him, because he is the author of the all the answers. He never met a debate he couldn’t, wouldn’t, and didn’t win, especially when it came to the the authority by which he taught, healed, and rebuked his people. In this climactic conclusion to his two-year study on the major events in the life of Christ, Pastor Ronald H. Gann examines each day of the Lord’s final week on earth.
