04 - (Wednesday) The Theology Debate

Matthew 22:23-40

June 19, 2011 • Pastor Ronald H. Gann

There was one issue that brought the Pharisees and the Sadducees together, and that was their mutual opposition to Jesus Christ. And by opposing Jesus Christ to his face, as they so often did and by orchestrating his betrayal and murder, both the Sadducees and the Pharisees demonstrate how something so good as religious devotion and patriotic pride could end up so bad; how passionate intentions and sincere devotion can result in eternal damnation. Not everything that starts of good has a happy ending.

In this climactic conclusion to his two-year study on the major events in the life of Christ, Pastor Ronald H. Gann examines each day of the Lord’s final week on earth.
